Welcome to PHY 121 Blog Help. Here's how it works. For each homework question and lab report we will make a post, this will probably contain a few tips on what the problems are about and how to solve them. If you are stuck on something then instead of emailing us directly you should post a comment in reply to the relevant post. We will try to guide you through tough points and help you understand the problems and the concepts behind them.

I don't undestand question 2
y = mx is similar to x = vx*k which is also simlar to x = vx * (2h/g)^.5. What is k. (slope)
i'm still having a problem with this one
I've tried just about every term. How do you approach this???
I thought the term would be time (t) > What are they looking for?
tried v0 vx t height gravity no luck. Any suggestions
The second post pretty much tells you the answer. Instead of squaring it to the 1/2 I entered the answer as sqrt(2h/g) and make sure to use parenthesis otherwise it'll be marked wrong.
