Welcome to PHY 121 Blog Help. Here's how it works. For each homework question and lab report we will make a post, this will probably contain a few tips on what the problems are about and how to solve them. If you are stuck on something then instead of emailing us directly you should post a comment in reply to the relevant post. We will try to guide you through tough points and help you understand the problems and the concepts behind them.

For whatever reason, it's telling me my answer is incorrect?!
17 C is my difference.
So +273.15K = 290.15K and it says that answer is wrong??
In case of temperature difference 273.15 is left out.
This is the same problem that we did in class. Imagine T1, and T2 are given in C and T1 -T2 =10 C. Convert them both to K and subtract one from the other.
T1 and T2 are NOT given so how can we calculate each of them in K and then get the difference?? This problem doesn't make sense ...
You do not need to know the values of T1 and T2 the question is about their difference, you given the difference in C and asked to find in K.
