I got the initial pressure by calculating Pinitial= nRTinitial/v
what is the isochoric process?
what am i supposed to do next??
isochronic means constant volume so solve as usual with ideal gas law but using final temperature only.
Remember to divide by 1000 because the units are in kPa
I had .9mol, 9*10^-5m^3 and tfinal as 773.15 ao i did P = .9mol8(a.38*10^-23)*(773.15)/(9*10^-5 and got 1.0669*10^-19 then divided by 1000 to make kpa whats wrong?
I'm having problems to ... I did
p(3*10^-5)=(.19)(8.314)(773)
than divided it by 1000 and its wrong?
I changed the cm^3 into SI unite and changed the temp to Kelvin divided the answer by 1000 for kPa and I still dont get what I'm doing wrong....
Let R = .0821,
n is the number of moles given in the problem,
change the unit of volume, cm^3, to liters (divide by 1000),
change temperature into kelvin,
Then use PV = nRT, solve for P
this will give u ur answer in atm, but u gotta multiply it by 101.325 to change to kPa
