What area formula do I use for the human eardrum?
I = Power / Area
so
since they want power. Just rearrange.
Area of the eardrum.
They give you diameter, so we assume its a circle.
What is the formula for the Area of a circle?
pi * radius^2
Now using the forumla on sheet 9.7. Find Intensity, use the formula from the beginning.
