Welcome to PHY 121 Blog Help. Here's how it works. For each homework question and lab report we will make a post, this will probably contain a few tips on what the problems are about and how to solve them. If you are stuck on something then instead of emailing us directly you should post a comment in reply to the relevant post. We will try to guide you through tough points and help you understand the problems and the concepts behind them.

my values are; 860 degress C which I made 1113.15, Pressure 3atm, initial vol=300 and final =100 which i made 3*10^-4 and 1 *10^-4 respectively. Delta v i got -2*10^-6. For N i didN=PV/KT and that was 3*(-2*10^-6)/(1.38^-23) * (1113.15) and I got -4.05*10^14 which is wrong. what did i mess up?
For the initial temp do we do Tfinial-Tinitial = W/(3/2*N * K)? cause mines not working
how do you solve for the number of moles? I've tried using the ideal gas equation, but it doesn't seem to work.
You supposed to use ideal gas equation to solve for number of moles. Do you use SI units? For what point on the graph you are applying an equation?
do we just use 3 atm for the pressure or convert it to something
Yes, in appropriate units
