Use equation for heat, specific heat and temperature
is it a problem that the last post's Cw is in J/g*C and not J/kg/K? This is the only thing that i can think of that I might be doing wrong. I converted the mass to kg and used deltaT from the first answer.
I suggest convert everything into SI units, i.e. kg, J etc. For Delta T it does not matter since you only use difference. It is not a problem that last post has c_water as 4.18 J/g/C (note that C should be in denominator), but you have to make sure that you use g consistently and it drops out. Do the dimensional analysis in the end to make sure that you got correct units.

c_mercury = 140 J/kg/K
you need to use Delta T rather than T
where Delta T being difference in initial and final temperatures
