Calculate amount of heat transfered to water in one second. How much water needed to absorb this heat for stated temperature difference?

i get confused when the homework is past the lecture notes are we supposed to use deltaQ/deltaL=K*A*(T2-T1/L)
I did not make a mistake. First you calculate it for a second - since that is a definition of Watt - J/s. Then hopefully you know how to convert it into minutes or hours.

No. You are supposed to find out how much water you can heat to the stated temperature difference with the amount of "waste" heat from reactor.
