How do you find the direction of vector D? I tried adding or subtracting the two values I got for A & B vectors but I'm getting more than one significant figure for the solution.

You have to round your answer to the number of significant figures being asked for. If I misunderstood and MP does not accept your answers show your calculation here.

I am having trouble finding the magnitude of vector D. I referred to the notes and tried plugging numbers into both the pythagorean equation as well as 3.5 (I tried the both the addition and subtraction versions) but have not been able to come up with the correct answer.

erica...i had the same problem but for some reason it accepted my answer of two sig-figs..use equation 3.2

Really need help!!!
The angle.... should I put any unit behind the answer?
Angle= inverse tan(Vy/Vx) isn't it correct?

Alright guys so dont forget how to get slope using x and y coordinates. Change in Y over channge in X, using B-A, not A-B. Get that answer and take the inverse tan of it. Your answer should give you the degree measure.
